First Aid for
Mental Health Supervising
(Online - Zoom session)

Course Overview

Level-3 First Aid for Mental Health Supervising – 2 day

This is delivered online via zoom by expert mental health trainers.

Mental health issues are more common than many realise.
In the UK, 1 in 4 people are affected by a mental health condition each year. In the workplace, 1 in 6 employeesexperience challenges such as anxiety, stress, or depression. Work-related stress, in particular, remains a leading cause of mental strain, directly affecting performance and overall wellbeing.

Despite the growing need for support, mental health is still a taboo topic in many environments, with stigma and fear of judgment preventing people from seeking help. This silence can lead to a damaging workplace culture—both emotionally and financially. To address this, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) now highlights mental health within its First Aid Needs Assessment.

Who is it for?

  • Managers, supervisors, HR personnel, directors, or anyone else who operates in a capacity where they may be expected to, as part of their role, to offer in-depth support to a staff member suffering from a mental health crisis.
  • People who have a personal interest in mental health first aid and wish to develop their knowledge and skills to the highest level.

It is recommended that learners hold a minimum of level 1 in literacy or equivalent to undertake this qualification.
