Course Overview
Who is this for?
This qualification is intended for those that are undertaking the role of a traffic marshal in a workplace. The qualification builds on Health and Safety regulations related to traffic management in a construction site
Pre-Requisites:
This qualification is available to those over 16 years, however employers should ensure that candidate is suitable to undertake the role of a traffic marshal. Candidates should be at least a level 1 numeracy and literacy or equivalent.
Course Contents:
- Health and safety regulations related to traffic management
- Traffic Risk Assessment
- Accident prevention
- PPE & Safety signs
- Identifying dangerous manoeuvres (reversing)
- The code of hand signals recommended by the HSE
- Legal obligations and responsibilities of employers and their employees
- Assessment
