CITB – Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
The CITB SSSTS course provides new or aspiring supervisors with the essential skills needed to manage health and safety on site. Moreover, the course explains the legal responsibilities of supervisors and the importance of effective site leadership. It also covers common hazards, risk assessments, and safe systems of work. In addition, participants learn how to implement best practices and promote a positive safety culture within their teams.

This course is designed for individuals stepping into supervisory roles in construction. Therefore, it is ideal for team leaders, supervisors, and those preparing for a management position. Furthermore, the training helps learners understand site rules, communication expectations, and the need to challenge unsafe behaviour. Eligibility criteria
Anyone aged 16 or above who has some experience in construction and is moving into a supervisory role may enrol. Consequently, successful learners demonstrate strong leadership skills and a clear commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
